The Town of Okotoks received more than $5 million from the Government of Alberta through the Local Growth and Sustainability Grant (LGSG) to fund essential deep utility and road infrastructure. Phase one construction is expected to begin before Sept. 30, 2025, in alignment with program guidelines, and will include:

• Upgrading of buried sewer mains on Riverside Drive where it crosses Northridge Drive
• Burial of overhead power on Riverside Drive west of the Arts & Learning Campus

More information on project phases, timelines, road closures, and engagement opportunities will be available once details are finalized.
