2025 Budget What We Learned Report
The results from phase 1 of the 2025 Budget Engagement are in! Check out the What We Learned report to see what the community had to say about the various services the Town provides for taxes.
It is time to build our 2025 Budget! The budget is the plan for how tax dollars and other funding will be allocated to provide the services Okotokians count on, as well as to build and maintain roads, recreation facilities and other important Town infrastructure. This final year of the 4-year budget will be focused on service levels.
The feedback you provide here will be shared with Council to provide insight into what is important to Okotoks residents. This is one piece of information that will be weighed alongside many other factors and provincial obligations that Council must consider as part of the budget deliberations.
The results from phase 1 of the 2025 Budget Engagement are in! Check out the What We Learned report to see what the community had to say about the various services the Town provides for taxes.
Before you take the survey, try out our Taxpayer Receipt, which allows you to see what portion of your property taxes goes toward each of the services you'll be asked about in the survey.
This survey asked what services you value most, and whether you feel your taxes are being allocated to the right services in the right amounts. The survey was open May 23 to June 9, 2024.

A moratorium on all new developments. This council is letting developers destroy our beautiful, small town. Enough is enough.

Add a W as a prefix to the name of the town. I’d suggest doing it in rainbow highlights. Embrace and lean into the progressive ideology.
