Public Hearing

The public is invited to attend the public hearing on the Thunder Stone Junction North Area Structure Plan.

Citizens who feel they may be affected by the proposed bylaw can participate by submitting one written comment in advance or by making a single oral presentation at the hearing, either in person or virtually. All submissions form part of the public record and are provided to Council to consider as part of their decision-making.

Written submissions

  • Comments received by 12 noon on March 18, 2026 will be included in Council’s agenda package.
  • Submissions received after that deadline and up to 6:30 p.m. on March 23, 2026 will be summarized by Administration, noted at the hearing, provided to Council in full, and published in an amended agenda after the hearing.
  • To make a submission:

Oral presentations

  • Anyone affected by the proposed bylaw may speak at the public hearing in person or virtually;
  • Requests to participate remotely must be emailed to Legislative Services by 12 noon on March 23, 2026.

Time limits and responses

Oral presentations are limited to 5 minutes per person, and the public will have an opportunity to respond to any new information from Administration during the hearing.

Each person may make one submission only (written or verbal), and all submissions become part of the public record.
