To help improve Okotoks’ water system and support future growth, the Town is upgrading water mains and replacing aging infrastructure in portions of the Suntree and Tower Hill neighborhoods.

A second dedicated water main is required to improve system resiliency and to support growth in Wedderburn, North D’Arcy and future lands in north Okotoks. In addition, aging infrastructure in the vicinity of the Tower Hill Pump Station and near the intersection of Milligan Drive and Northridge Drive requires replacement.

The work is being done in stages along Milligan Drive from Visser Way and is anticipated to be completed by the end of September, 2025.

This project requires:

• Full westbound lanes closures at Milligan Drive between Visser Way to Veterans Way
• Access maintained for local residents (south end of Robinson Drive) and general public to Robinson Drive via Visser Way and Waldron Avenue
• Detours in place 24/7
  • Westbound traffic on Milligan Drive will be shifted to the south lanes between Visser Way and Veterans Way, then redirected back to the north lanes.
• Tower Hill tennis court parking lot closure
